  • Eight holiday apartments in a listed 19th century property, built in the style of the time with towers and picturesque balconies. However, its origins date back to the 13th century. Find out more about the history of Campan Castle.

  • The estate consists of three buildings: the main house with five holiday flats, the outbuilding with the Prälaten’ apartment and the Pfauenauge’ apartment, and the detached Kutscherhaus.

  • Castle grounds with pond: a habitat for geese, ducks and fish.

  • Children's playground: spend cool hours in the shade of the trees in summer

  • Bee house with its own apiary

  • Chapel directly in the castle

  • Sustainable holiday: water is heated from a wood chip boiler (using wood from our own trees), electricity comes from our own photovoltaic system

  • You can plan your arrival and departure on any day.

  • Local tax: We are obliged to charge a tourist tax of € 2.80 per person per night for all people aged 14 and over and to pay this to the local authority. This is not included in the listed price.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. Please go to the balcony/terrace of your holiday flat or outside.

  • Out of respect for other guests, parties are not allowed in our apartments.

  • Damage to the furnishings or objects in the flat and loss of rental equipment such as toboggans must be paid for.

We welcome dogs and cats here, but no other pets please. There is an extra charge of €18 per night for pets. Sleeping with your dogs on the bed is strictly forbidden. You must bring your own basket, lead, food and other equipment. Be aware Italy, dogs must be kept on a lead and be muzzled on public transport. Here you can find more important information about holidays with dogs in South Tyrol and the regulations. We would like to point out that a dog must be specified when booking, as we ourselves have a dog (Bernese Sennen) and many families with small children stay at Campan Castle. Please let us know when you make your booking if you would like to bring your dog or cat with you so we can plan your stay appropriately.

Day trips from Campan:

Countless hiking and cycling trails await you at the bottom of the Eisack Valley and in the alpine heights, which are ideal for excursions with your four-legged friend. The marvellous mountainous world of the Dolomites is right on your doorstep. The München-Venezia cycle path runs right past the estate, which you can cycle on individual sections and then get the train back to Brixen. The return journey by train is free of charge thanks to the BrixenCard.

The price is for the apartment independent of the occupancy and remains the same even if less people are staying than the maximum occupancy. The price only changes for the ‘Bienenhaus’ and ‘Landliebe’ apartments depending on the number of guests.   • To confirm the booking, we ask you to transfer a deposit of 30% (at least € 200). The reservation is guaranteed once the deposit has been credited to our account. We will confirm this via email. From this point on, our cancellation conditions apply (these are listed below). We will hold your reservation for 7 days after you make your booking. If we have not received your deposit in our account by the 7th day after making the booking, the reservation will be automatically be cancelled.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Code (‘Notice pursuant to Part III, Title III, Section I, of the Consumer Protection Code GvD 206/2005’), there is no right of withdrawal from the contract, but we do grant you the following cancellation rights:

  • In the event of cancellation up to 30 days before arrival, no cancellation fees will be charged

  • In the event of cancellation up to 15 days before arrival at the latest, 60% of the agreed total price.

  • In the event of cancellation 14 days or more before arrival, 80% of the agreed total price.

  • In the event of no-show without prior cancellation, 100% of the agreed total price.

  • In the event of early departure or late arrival, 80% of the agreed price per unused night.
