Booked your vacation? Look forward to it: Our castle is situated in a wonderfully quiet, secluded location surrounded by orchards and vineyards. Here you can spend your vacation undisturbed and surrounded by nature. The trees completely block out the sounds of the outside world and provide a feeling of security. To help you find us, we have provided detailed directions for you:

Arriving by bus and train

We are happy to pick you up from the train station in Brixen or from the bus stop. You can also reach the castle from the train station on your own: Take bus number 1 (towards Albeins), which runs every half hour to Sarns. Get off at the Sarns-Bodner stop.

Thanks to the Brixen Card, you can also travel to Brixen free of charge by public transport from the Brenner Pass or the Reschen Pass and San Candido. Please let us know when you make your inquiry or booking that you will be traveling by public transport, and we will send you the Brixen Card via email.

Travelling with a car

If you are coming from the north:

Take the motorway exit: Brixen Nord – Pustertal.
After approximately 3 km, you will reach Brixen. We recommend taking the bypass to Brixen Mitte at the roundabout next to the Q8 gas station.
Upon leaving the tunnel, take the first exit at the roundabout (turn right), drive along Via Dante, and at the second roundabout, take the third exit (continue straight ahead).
Drive along Via Alpini and at the next roundabout, take the third exit (turn left). You are now on Mozartallee.
Drive to Milland, turn onto Via Plose at the roundabout, and then onto Via Sarnser.
Follow this road through apple orchards to a second junction (small road) on the right. This will take you directly to Campan Castle.

Coming from the south:

Take the Chiusa-Gröden motorway exit.
Drive towards Chiusa, then take the second exit at the roundabout and turn right onto the Brenner road SS12 (5.5 km) towards Bressanone.
At the roundabout after 2.7km take the second exit and turn right towards Albeins – Sarns.
Pass Albeins, continue on the Sarnser road (Sarns village – church – Bar Flora).
You will see Palaus Castle on your left, drive along the castle wall, and you will find the Sarns/Bodner bus stop on your right.
After the castle wall, turn immediately left (in winter – this road is closed, so continue on the Sarnser road (approx. 2.5 km) and turn left onto Franz von Unterrichter road (approx. 2.5 km).

You can park directly in front of the castle.
