Campan Castle is a popular accommodation for conference attendees in the surrounding area, such as Bozen or Brixen, as well as a preferred accommodation for the rest of the family whose older children are participating in a music week at the Vinzentinum or a music school. Campan Castle is particularly close to the Vinzentinum's Episcopal Institute and classical licensing school. Among the numerous exhibitions, some are particularly worth seeing: The Archaeological Museum, featuring the famous glacier mummy Ötzi, provides deep and detailed insights into Stone Age life. The Folklore Museum in Dietenheim tells the ethnographic story of the lives of mountain farmers in those days. At the Ridnaun Mining Museum, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about the lives of miners and the mining of ore-bearing rock from the Middle Ages well into the 20th century. At the Tiso Mineral Museum, you'll discover all sorts of shimmering treasures from mountain caves, such as rock crystals and geodes.
