Campan Castle is nestled in a wonderful secluded location surrounded by greenery, where there is plenty to discover! Several robust apple and wine varieties thrive around the castle. The house garden with its herbs and flowers is one of hostess Rita's passions. She has attended numerous courses to train as a farm and garden guide. In dialogue with other farmers and interested women, the grounds and garden have been enriched with a variety of flowers and plants. In the farm shop, our agriculture becomes even more tangible and flavoursome, as we offer fruit spreads, apple juice and wine as well as eggs, potatoes and vegetables from the garden, depending on the season.

Organic products & farm shop

Today, our fields are mainly used for growing fruit, including various apple varieties such as the red Bonita, Cosmic Crisp, Evelina, Gala, Morgenduft and Topaz. We are also passionate about viticulture. The vines are treated with care and produce excellent wines that have already won awards. As our house guests, you can of course also taste and purchase our fine white wines made from organic Solaris Souvignier Gris and Paladin Solaris grapes – as well as fruit, juices, fruit spreads, jams and, depending on the season, vegetables and herbs from our garden.

Even old and curious animal breeds

Animals on the farm

Being in nature: Various animals live on the farm that want to be stroked, fed or simply observed. We have cats, geese, donkeys, happy chickens and a peacock running around freely. From spring to autumn, our bee colonies pollinate the apple blossoms and other crops. Fish swim in the pond and the flowers in our herb garden are visited by our own bees. We also have some old livestock breeds on our farm, such as the Sulmthaler chicken and the Tyrolean chicken. We also have a small, lively and lovable farm dog: a Bernese mountain dog.

Holidays with children

The charming Campan Castle is a place for all history lovers, but also for the adventurous – and that's normally the children. When you're not exploring the surroundings of Brixen and the Eisack Valley, your children will have plenty to do on the farm and in the castle grounds: animals, playground, playroom, lots of books, games and much more make a holiday with children an enjoyable break.

Secluded location in the heart of South Tyrol

Holidays with a dog

No dog owner likes to be separated from their four-legged friends during the best time of the year. On holiday, dogs and their owners finally have enough time to run around in the great outdoors. The spacious holiday flats at Campan Castle offer comfortable accommodation with plenty of space in a historic setting, while the extensive castle grounds and the surrounding area provide plenty of space to exercise your dog. Don't forget that dogs must be kept on a lead in Italy and must wear a muzzle when travelling on public transport.

Not only a large castle park, which provides shade on hot summer days, but also a delicious variety of organic products as well as living and working with nature, characterised by the seasons.

Nature and the estate are close to my heart. My degree in crop science has given me a broad knowledge of organic farming. Today, I am a passionate organic farmer and use this knowledge every day.
